Remy's thoughts on the takeover of the country!

When I hear pundits and politicians say "this is just a distraction" associated with Trump sending National Guard Troops into Washington DC, to me it's an attempt to normalize and minimize the obvious power grab.  It's not normal. It is an attempt to relive the pressure you feel.  We can never pretend this is okay in America. 

The comments about voting are also dishonest and demoralizing "My vote doesn't count" is one of them, it lets you off the hook for not taking responsibility.

If your vote does not count why would Republicans want voting to be more difficult? Why would they make extra effort to carve out more Republican districts if voting doesn't matter?

If you are fatigued by the new and discouraged, take a moment and then get up and take action.  There's power in the numbers and power gives us courage.
